Football is more than just a game - it's where children build confidence, friendships and habits that last a lifetime. The Chelsea Rovers Academy gives young players from U8 to U16 a safe, welcoming place to fall in love with the game. Everything we do is built around three things:

Established in 2026, the academy is committed to developing young talent in an environment that fosters both skill and character. Every player is a valued part of our family, encouraged to play with pride, knowing they have the full backing of their teammates and coaches.

Age groups from U8 to U16

We run age groups from U8 through to U16, with sessions matched to each stage of development - from first touches and small-sided fun for our youngest Rovers to structured training and competitive football for our older groups. And the pathway doesn't stop there: our U18s and U23s development squads give academy graduates a clear route into adult football, with partner clubs between Step 3 and Step 8 of the English football pyramid for those who go furthest.

We offer opportunities for players to engage with the community, develop leadership skills and take on responsibility, helping them grow into confident, future-ready individuals.
